Kwest was founded in 1928 by Arthur Vos and was first named VOS Implements & Hardware where after Mr Hirschen joined in the1940’s.

Since 1950 Wally Levy was the sole owner of Kwest until his brother Leon Levy joined in 1954 where after they sold to Afrox in 1970.

Ernst von Finckenstein bought Kwest from Afrox in 1997.
